A man and songwriter in the mould of a traditional troubadour, Andy Hickie, alongside his band The Merry Maidens, releases his much anticipated debut album, “I’d Rather Be Ramblin'” showcasing their unique and alternative folk chronicles.

Staunch support is offered from the soulful strains of Jess Roberts, the familiar home comforts and rebellion of Whiskey Moon Face, the sweet, incorruptible, yet wholly moving, inflections of Heal The Last Stand and the distinguished treat of the second night of John Fairhurst’s mini-residency, this time as a one-man tuned and toned tornado.
